Engaging Youth Projects

Our youth project initiative addresses our priorities by focussing on young people in Hertfordshire who are experiencing mental health concerns aggravated by social anxiety during and after the lockdown. Its goal is to promote participants’ resilience, mental health, and social inclusion by providing a structured projects that combines informal sports sessions with mentoring. This intervention is critical at a time when many young people are suffering increased stress, sadness, and social isolation as a result of pandemic-related difficulties. Partnering with local authorities and organisations which assures community involvement and expert support which aligns with our goal of encouraging collaborative efforts to address the needs of young people. The projects has been adapted to address specific community needs after consultations with an emphasis on inclusivity and support for Hertfordshire young people experiencing mental and physical health concerns.
